I wonder how many times during the debate where you can ask the campaign runners questions, how they plan to carry through on their campaign promises. sure, they have plenty of ideas on how to carry them out but how often do they just leave the problems of planning to a "think tank" (a place where more ideas are thought up but no real clear solution) and forget about it till elections come around again. How many, or few, actually come up with a plan other than "Hey I have an idea, so lets do this!" and make a semblance of wanting to pass the bill.
I'm obviously ranting in circles, but I'm still tired on how almost now thought is being put into passing important bills that could, or wouldn't, change the world for the better. everything is constantly tied up in bueracrats and inner politics that the only way you can get anything through is by dirty plays. such plays as attaching what you want to happen to the bill the opposing party wants as well. there's also discrediting the person who came up with the bill that will in turn make the bill itself discredited. and numerous other tactics that waste time and money. I'm really suprised of how many bueracrats there are in politics. just how many do we really need? do we really need a "chief assistant to the assistant chief"
What all politics need is a complete house clean to get rid of the unneeded positions. On the other hand, maybe I should enter politics, after all working in politics is a pretty secure job when your working in the middle. Because if your at the top, you have to watch yourself otherwise the other guys below you will throw you out and use you as a scape goat for the body. so long as your not at the top, your pretty much safe.
So to get back to the original point, if you want to be elected based on your campaign promises, back them up with an actual plan other then we'll get onto that after we get elected. You might stand a better chance showing your plan for the promises you make. Doing that will probably get you farther than throwing up attack ads against the other party on tv to make you look better by comparison.
